St Croix warranty

Post by Hookset5 »

I snapped a rod boat flipping a 4# on a medium st croix rod. My fault? Does st croix have any warranty besides the 30 day thing?

The lower end rods have a 2 to 5 year warranty.
Higher end rods are 15 year warranty ( used to be lifetime )
Go to St Croix Rods website ......
All the replacement details are listed, depending upon the age and model.
I have never had any push back from St Croix ...... but all my rods are $250+ Legend rods

Just as Michael said, the warranty info is spelled out on the website and you can even print your shipping label from there. I have fished St Croix rods exclusively for the last 10+ years and have sent three rods back for repair and all of them were taken care of. One was an almost new rod that my partner closed the tip in a boat compartment box and snapped it off...they replaced the rod for $25+ my shipping cost. And that was a Mojo Bass rod, which isn't a high end model.

No why did you try and boat flip a 4 lb fish with a medium action rod?!?
