Advice on good fish finder to pair with Lowrance Ghost

Post by Rvannjr1 »

I just purchased a Ghost trolling motor that I will be mounting on my Pro175 tournament edition. This is all new technology to me so I'm curious as to what fish finder to buy. Ill probably never have the money for live scan and I'm not looking to spend a ton. I'm thinking maybe the Elite F7? So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

The HDS live would be the best to experience all that the ghost has to offer. If you look at the classifieds on here you can find some really really good deals. I too run a ghost and have it paired up to HDS lives.

Agree with Live being the best and that is what I run too. But if you just need something completely compatible with the Ghost, a Carbon, Ti2, or the new Elite FS will all pair with the Ghost.

I agree with the previous posts. The HDS Live will be the best pairing to the Ghost Trolling Motor.

Hi and sorry for bothering you. Can you explain, why you decide that it's the best option? Heard a lot about Garmin finders, aren't they suitable? I mean similar to my favorite one's(example )

Elite ti2 will work just fine. It's a touch screen and can save waypoints from the ghost

I would recommend going with an HDS LIVE unit if possible or going with the Elite FS for a budget friendly option.

Lowrance is running a rebate program on the LIVE units through the end of the month!

Either way you go you will be able to add Pilot controls through NMEA 2000 and add the 3n1 nosecone for the Ghost 360 feature.

Holler if you have any questions!
