Reaction Bait Fishing
Reaction Bait Fishing
Over the past two or three years I've seen a significant decrease in the numbers of fish I've caught with squarebills and lipless crankbaits on the Delta, as compared to 5 or 6 years ago. Does anyone have any opinions as to why this is happening? Are fish becoming conditioned to these baits or has the overall health of the fishery declined over that same period of time? I see more and more seals and/or sea lions and am wondering if their affect is negative to overall numbers or just to the big fish population?
Re: Reaction Bait Fishing
Rich Tuaber, a local bass pro who won US Open years ago coined the term “reaction bait”.
