“Upgrade failed’ retry update procedure”

Hi guys,

I got a Lowrance elite9 ti. Never had any issues with it until today. Turned it on and it flashed the elite ti sign then showed an error message that reads “upgrade failed, retry update procedure”. It then restarts, shows the elite logo then the error message again. It does this over and over again. I’ve never updated it or tried to update.

I’ve tried the soft reset. Holding the pages button then power until it lights up and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

All wires in boat are good tried another unit and worked fine.

You can bring in Elite TI unit into the Sac FW store and we can install the new software and this should fix problem.

Thank you for the help.

That’s what I did and it worked.

Anyone reading this if you get the same thing, use a 32gb SD card. No bigger. Load the update directly to the SD card. Put card into unit, turn on unit.
