Noob needs help with chronarch 201e7

Post by Mienace »

Reel never been fish.
Long story short upgrade the drag washer reassemble back together now it’s seem the gear and pinion gear is not working correctly. I can hear and feel the gear chatter, like skipping a teeth, when I turn the handle. Taking a part& put it back together so many time, I even watched load of videos, still can’t figure it out.
What did I do wrong? Can someone help pls!

Ugh - Been there done that. check to make sure your anti reverse bushing is placed correctly (not upside down) check the clutch spring and arm to make sure that its fully engaged. I have a buddy Travis who has helped me work through this issue as well - PM me and Ill see if i can put you in touch.

Awesome, congrats at figuring it out. It feels great to service your own equipment.
