Skipping a frog

I fi sh a lake thats wall to wall docks & skip frogs alot. Have used a handfull of rods but never found one I was really comfortable with, Like something not much over 7', doesn't . need to be real heavy

Been here 43 years, never seen it like this. probably be May before I can get the boat out. Good idea though

It’s been a long time since we had weather like this year.
When I lived at Big Bear as a youngster we a 9’ snow fall that covered cabins and it was 2 weeks before a snow plow could clear enough snow to walk to the store. I believe it was 1949 from the picture of cardboard signs on tunnels to the village stores. Today’s mountain population has quadrupled and unaware and unprepared for what can happen.
1968-1969 we had flooding like this year....it’s been awhile.

Thanks Tom. February thru April my favorite time to fish here, best time to get bigger fish. Going to miss looks like, not even able to walk the bank
