Buyer beware!! Next gen Batteries

Post by rjt18b »

I don't do this... I'll try to keep it short. I tried to purchase new Lithium batteries from Nextgen on Feb. 14. 2 weeks go by, nothing from them. I email and get " your product was damaged in shipping wait 2 more weeks". 2 weeks go by, I email again: "still waiting on your product to arrive". On March 9, I receive the charger(least expensive item). I emailed again, when's the rest of my order coming in? "give it 2 more weeks" March 30, same old thing: when? "2 more weeks". I tried to cancel the order;asked for a return shipping on charger. They offer 10% off. NO THANKS! " your refund could take 5-7 days to process". 12 days later NO REFUND!! I email again and they "are looking into it"! That is the last I hear from them. I contact my Credit card, they give me a conditional credit. Nextgen gets 45 days to respond. On day 44 they tell my credit card that they shipped my product!! I produce emails and FINALLY on May 21, credit card gives me full refund. I have since talked to others that have had similar situuations!! Nextgen offers an afforadable LOOKING option for Lithium batteries. BUT BEWARE!! It appears that at least 3 employees are in on the attempt to scam honest customers. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Hello Sir,

Nobody ripped you off. We were back ordered and you were informed of this. You decided to file a dispute which takes the refund out of our hands. As with any dispute we are obligated to reply per our terms and conditions with our banking partners. Our system is actually automated. Since we shipped you a battery charger our system of course included the tracking info for the charger that was shipped. Banking timelines for a dispute are not up to us.

As you were instructed if you would have canceled the dispute we could have issued a refund right away. However once a dispute is filed it’s not an available option on our part. We just respond to the bank which we did.

Speaking of that charger we shipped you. Since you were given a full refund when do to plan on returning that charger you received? I don’t see it has being restocked.

Saying 3 of our employees are out to scam you is a total bogus statement and defamatory. We don’t scam anyone. We give anyone with a back order their money back that request it.

So after making this buyer beware post, you have 1. Received a full refund 2. I’m assuming you have not sent back the charger you received and now have not paid for.

If you haven’t sent back the charger I’ll be happy to supply you the return address what you haven’t paid for.

I doubt it was a scam and he probably shouldn’t have said that. With prices of things being what they are I think he was justified in complaining. Good customer service goes a long way in the world we live in and if he wound up with a free charger it seems he deserves at least that with all the leg work and waiting he endured.

Not going to get into a pissing contest. Never said I was ripped off. As I stated in an email requesting the cancellation of my order, send me a shipping label and I'll return the charger.

I find all this sad…. If either party would have picked up the phone and communicated in person rather than emails text messaging and social media…so much more would have been understood. I do feel Nextgen and their customer service should have been on the phone weekly with updates and if product can’t be-supplied in a reasonable time let the customer make a decision if he wants a refund. rather than a email that has no emotional customer communication.

Maybe everyone can learn a little here about customer service which has really went away in a lot of business in the last few years…sad!!!

If it was backordered, why was he always being told 2 more weeks? Your company gets the worst reviews. Your business partner already left the company. Do we even need to talk about your NEWJEN scandal?

Just curious? Because this came up again, did anyone get their NexGen batteries refunded or replaces or anything?
