I have seen some fishing reports by him. I reconised his talent thanks for the heads up I forgot he was fishing the opens that tournament is live now on FS1 there should be a camera man with him. Also his season started out strong at the big o I will follow him all year this tourney can also we watched on bassmasters.com

Great start for Christian he’s currently in second place! He finished 40th last week in his first event. Also a great start for Ish Monroe. Ish finished 28th last week and 14th this week. A couple Delta sticks doing us proud.

I'm now a true fan of Christian fairly recently read about him, I was really happy to see he made the top 10 today, especialy after his strong start at Okeechobee . I watched it all go down today on BASS live today was tough fishing as last night had a low of 25 degrees and high in the forties today but congradulations to him for a great finish . He ended up in 7th and walked with over 9 k the road to the Elites thru the opens is a tough row to hoe and expensive with ok paybacks this kids got talent. He fished his strenths, power fishing not scoping spinnerbaits and chatterwagons impresive performance he was on the right track to win. today was tough on all the field I never saw one spinning rod on his deck all day thats balls on a cold day props to him on that. And I have Finessed many big fish for years on spinning rods but a power fisherman at heart . Will follow him all year and wish him safe travels and good fishing .

Congratulations to Christian on his top-10. One of the writer checked in with him during his pracitce day's for this the event so that WesternBass could highlight him on the next mag's cover. The article and photos for his cover have been at graphics since Wednesday, so it won't have any mention of the actual tournament, but he does talk about practice in it and what he was planning to do if he won any money at this event.
