My buddy Gary Collins caught this 15.92 mutant monster bass on Clear Lake a few days ago. The lake has been kicking out some giants this year. Word on the street is she ate a 9” glide bait. Way to go Gary

Gary is a great fisherman and guy! I had the pleasure to draw him at Clear Lake in a Pro AM! Way to go Gary! What a beast
of a bass! Wow!!!

Actually Kwin trout do make it into the lake by coming up Putah creek. I used to catch them in a net when the water temps would fry them in the summer and they would come up gasping on the surface at our resort in Glenhaven. There is even a fair smallmouth representation now in certain areas of the lake. There is more bait in Clear Lake than you can shake a stick at and the native hitch go down the largemouths throat just as easily as any trout would...
