My buddy Gary Collins caught this 15.92 mutant monster bass on Clear Lake a few days ago. The lake has been kicking out some giants this year. Word on the street is she ate a 9” glide bait. Way to go Gary 🤘🏻

Gary is a great fisherman and guy! I had the pleasure to draw him at Clear Lake in a Pro AM! Way to go Gary! What a beast
of a bass! Wow!!!

Awesome fish! with genetics like that we can only hope the lake will kick out more and maybe even bigger!

Actually Kwin trout do make it into the lake by coming up Putah creek. I used to catch them in a net when the water temps would fry them in the summer and they would come up gasping on the surface at our resort in Glenhaven. There is even a fair smallmouth representation now in certain areas of the lake. There is more bait in Clear Lake than you can shake a stick at and the native hitch go down the largemouths throat just as easily as any trout would...
