Restrictions??????

Are there any restrictions, regarding Golden Mussels at Lakes like Oroville, Bullards Bar and Shasta?

Oroville: This is the info from Oroville from first week of March. If you scroll down to Golden Mussels, it doesn't seem there are anything but suggestions there.

Shasta: This is the info from March from Shasta, no restrictions: As of now, there are no mussels in Shasta Lake. There are also no closures and/or check points for boats coming from other lakes to Shasta. If that changes, we will be sure to notify the public.

Bullards Bar: This is the info from Jan 2025. Again, just directions no noted restrictions

Miraculously the waters that are under federal projects don't seem to have draconian restrictions just state and municipal water districts....

Unfortunately, I have heard from several sources the restrictions are coming for Folsom, and I would assume Oroville and Shasta will be in the same situation. If there isn't reciprocity at some point between reservoirs it is going to be a real problem. And if you want to fish the delta, you're not fishing any local lake before passing whatever criteria they come up with. UGH!
