Re: Voodoo???
It could have been a chatterbait type bait. There is a local product out os Sacramento called a Voodoo Bait. I carry them in my store, and I know they were available at Limit Out in Clear Lake.

Re: Voodoo???
It could be a chatter bait type lure as the web site was not " in my opinion " showing something that was consistant with the other baits they were throwing. Thanks for the info boyz!!!

It is from the Fishin' Magician....
Bait Company owned and operated by some friends of mine , Chris Peterson and his wife Amy.
The bait in question is called a VooDoo and it is very similar to the Chatterbait that came out a couple of years ago. The major difference is the head design, paint schemes and a blade that out thumps any other similar bait.
Troy has some of the early prototypes at Troy's Outdoor Sports and I hear that Limit Out in Clear Lake has them also. Here is a photo from the photo page of a 9 lb'er that Amy caught on a VooDoo a few weeks ago.

Re: Voodoo???
Scott is right,
This is a small company based out of the foothills. I too can vouch for the Voo-Doo. I have many of them in different sizes shapes and colors and let me tell ya these things shake like no other in its class. Another great feature of these Voo-Doo baits is that the blade is of much better quality. I have used these baits in many different water conditions and they work. My favorite Voo-Doo is the 1/2 ounce white on white. I have used the chatter bait and many other similar to the chatter bait and hands down no comparison to the Voo-Doo. My advice to you is if you find a dealer that sells the Voo-Doo do yourself a favor and buy a couple. The lure will speak for itself when you use it bottom line. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I can put you into contact with the stores that sell them.

Re: Voodoo???
Hi fellas,
To whom it may concern regarding the voo-doo bait, my wife and I are the owners of the co. fishin' magician tackle co. My co. is pretty new so I appologize for the lack of info out there on it and my baits. I'm gonna keep it simple on the voo-doo; it's indeed a type of "blade bait" or what ever the industry is going to call it, they're going to have to come up with a name sooner or later because this type of bait is here to stay. It is fished much like a crank or a blade with versatility that far surpasses either. I urge any avid fisherman to try a voo-doo you will definately fall in love with it the same way myself and fellow fishing partners have. The design of the voo-doo is simple, My goal was simple also, take a bait that works and improve it to it's maximum potential. The blade is one of a kind, almost one full inch larger in circumference, the hook a gamakatsu, the head a three dimentional minnow type with molded three-d eyes and up to twelve colors available. Whats' best about this bait is that it will retail the same as far less comparable baits;$ 6.99. I promise this bait will surprise you and bring you great success as it has for myself and others. Look for our website in the near future. If you're interested in photos and/or our contact information, please feel free to email us at cpeterson530@sbcglobal.net.
