Ron. I wish to personally thank you for your patriotism and respect for our Nation. I'm only a Viet Nam vet, but I can truly appriciate the gesture. I can't tell you how much it means to we who served and to the many people who truley respect this great county of ours. Too many times I have seen people young and old who don't even show respect of silence or to sing along. I 'm sure you will continue this gesture and hope that ALL tournament directors will do the same. God Bless America !!

Ron,

Great article; thank you for putting your thoughts in written words. Even more importantly, thank you for playing our National Anthem before each tournament!

Ron! Way to go man, you hit this one out of the park. Like you, I tear up every time I hear the National Anthem and I am a former USMC. I really appreciate what you said and I wish more T.D.'s did the same.

"Former" USMC? 8)

Didn't think there was such a thing.

First, Last and Always a Marine. But, as the saying goes "Not as Lean, Not as Mean, but always a Marine."

Is there ever going to be a veterans only tournament? I would love to see something like that held locally.
