Best Price On A Minn Kota...

Post by Quantum_Kid »

I'm looking to upgrade to a 70 pound thrust Minn Kota, and I am wondering where to look for the best price.

I have searched the net, but I know that some smaller buisnesses without a website may have better prices.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

i was also looking for a trolling motor last year and i went to the local boat shops asking about trolling motors and i got one that was perfect for me.... I went Bob's Marine and Asked and they had one they pulled off another boat, becuase the guy wanted a upgrade... I got a New 65lb thrust minn kota for $500 where it probably would have cost $600 to $700 plus shipping... they even gave me a receipt in case something happened and i need to have it repaired. Just thought i would share cause i know that most boats come standard 60 to 80 lb thrust and most guys get upgrades to 101's and 109's. Just food for thought... hope it helps...

We bought our boat there, so I'll give it a look.

Thanks again,

Give Gene a call at The hook (925-625-2441) is always has great prices, and backs it up with great service.

Factory reconditioned units can save you $1-200 bucks or more and they're still covered under warranty. I know some dealers have waiting lists of guys trying to get one. My factory reconditioned Maxxum 74 is over five years old and I've never had a single problem with it.

Try calling:

Jay Liu's Service - (530) 246-8051
Foster's Trolling Motors - (504) 328-2877

Note: Foster's is in Louisiana and where I ordered mine from...even with UPS shipping I still saved a bundle.

Sorry,

I forgot to mention that it would have to be a longer shaft (50in,54in) because we have a deeper V.

Thanks again,
