Reflections from the US Open

Post by rickyshabazz »

The US Open is one of the best events in the West. I love the fact that Lake Mead is a pattern lake.

Here is a screenshot of one the my best spots from my Navionics phone app. I caught a lot of fish on small swimbaits and Missile Baits shockwaves on an a rig. I found the fish in washes and cuts which I found using my mapping feature called Fishing Ranges. This allows you to use different colors to highlight the depth ranges holding fish or that are shallow.

I spent practice sonar logging so that there will be an updated version of the lake available.

My Ranger Boats and Mercury Marine got me to the fish and back. Lake Mead was very rough.

Shot out to Anglers Marine for having their service truck to help out ANYONE in need. That’s service.

See you all next year. Back to work.
