Frank it seems that fishing is tough everywhere. My son and I made 3 trips to the forebay and managed 1 small striper and 2 bass. All the lakes and the delta are fishing tough. On some of the foothill lakes there are a million shad, so maybe the fish aren't needing look to far for food. Who knows, there are always some fishermen that catch em. Wish it were us.

We went to the Forebay a couple of weeks ago and hammered them! Just have to find them with your electronics then go after them! Everything was in the morning. Bite was dead in the afternoon.
