I've been fishing there a few times in the summer. Usually decent bites near dusk/nighttime. LMB, smallies, and some 'bows in the lake.

Sold the boat, tried to delete the ad and it's not giving me the option to do so. Had the same problem a few day ago when I was trying to put up an ad.

I'll second that, their Skykomish Sunrise model seems to be the best thought out model I've seen. With a standing platform, strong frame, and lots of capacity, I think I'll buy one myself.

I think there are some lakes near the Kings River, a ways below Pine Flat dam. Of course the mountain lakes might be good bets, too, for trout.

Decided to retire it as the hooks were starting to wear into the body, which would turn it into a sinker pretty quick. Very successful lure for me, I expect other folks can add photo of their old favorites as well. :)

While casting for stripers I have caught a LM west of Brannon Island on the Sac River, and I expect that gets even saltier than the San Joaquin. I think the big thing is between stripers, steelhead, salmon, and sea lions, the bass have more predators/competition than in the quieter lagoons and sloug...

To update folks, I got home one day, pulled out my voltage meter and found 12.5 volts at the starting battery, without the main motor running. The Lowrance had about 9.9 showing on the display.
