Thanks both of you for the info on NM. Sounds like Oroville will be the better bet.
I guess Berryessa would be a good idea also. It's just been a long time since I've been to Oroville so I was leaning toward trying it.

Oroville or New Melones?
Question - if you were going fishing this weekend and had a choice between Oroville and New Melones... which would you choose? I've been mostly off the water for the past year or so. Just been managing a few trips to the Delta once every couple of months. This weekend I thought I'd get the boat out ...

Great Article On BMC From Toronto
My boss's boss, who's located at our manufacturing plant in Toronto, know's that I am into bass fishing and have competed at low levels. He knows nothing about fishing. I was mentioning to him last week that it was incredible that the first day of the "super bowl" of bass fishing (so he'd ...

It is my understanding that Reel Ex only services Shimano reels. Sounds like you are looking for someone to service ABUs also... I'd recomend Larry's Reel Repair in Vallejo. Delta Info (Lunch on the Water?)
I've had my boat (BassCat) for a year and a half and now my wife, who hasn't really been interested in going for a ride or fishing up to now, has finally taken me up on my offer to go out on the Delta for a little sightseeing trip. I'm heading to Clear Lake tomorrow morning early and in the year and a half I've owned my boat, I've always gone the least windy route (from SouthBay/Mountain View) which is up 680 to 505 to 5 and then getting off at 20/Williams and heading West to Clear Lake. I use one and so far it's worked for me (no break-ins).
