The Motherlode lakes are always good for big bass. I have always liked Don Pedro for large bass and as several have said March and April are the months to catch them. What weather reporting site is best for Don Pedro Lake and do any of them do a good job 15 days out.

I have a 2009 Optimax switched over to the Lucas synthetic blend 2 cycle and really like it. I think it was Ken Mah and one of his posts that got me interested in Lucas. But since I have been using it I feel my motor has preformed better with less soot buildup.

But that is subjective .

I do not understand why this is an issue with some people. Especially if you have ever fished a tournament. Trout must be dead if in the boat, can't keep them alive in the livewell. Bass, you can keep 5 alive or dead in your livewel if you are not a retailer selling fish, then you need a permit. I have a 2009 Mercury that has never had anything but non-ethanol run in it.

Am I the only one who is disappointed with the delay in broadcasting their events? I'm upset too. Now what delay are you talking about. :shock: They record several shows then put them on. Right ? They compete in the spring, and then are broadcast at the end of the year. That part doesn't bother me....

I don't see MLF coming out west anytime soon. It is the same anglers that just got BASS to change the schedule from having 2 tournaments scheduled out west next year. The biggest barrier in getting BASS and BPT come to the west coast is distance, and the Rocky Mountains. Got to watch MLF fish a lake that I have tournaments on. It was great watching them pick spots and baits on water that I know. :D
