I honestly don’t think guys are not fishing sole on money reasons. Yes that is a big factor but there are other reasons also. Look into the Lee Sisson boat alarm it has a shock sensor and a pager. The problem with proximity alarms everything sets it off.

65 pound braid always. No matter how clear the water is. Went to Berry this weekend caught about 20 on the new silent version. Water was clear and had no problem with the braid.

I ran into this same problem at Pardee. It rained the night before I went. My boat was a little wet when I got to the lake. When they checked my livewells there was some water arond the brim. They would not send me out. This winter I hope they come up with some guide lines for so we know what to do ...

I was showed away how to rig the BMF hook back east. I rig it so the head of the beaver slides past the eye so that the eye works as a peg once you push the weight down on to it. Its kind of hard to explain with out showing it. It works great when punching.

I love this bait for flliping. I use a 5/0 bmf hook for all my beavers exep he smallie beaver I use the 3/0 bmf. As for weigh I vary, I use any where from 3/16 to 1 1/2oz. You need to email Jermy about fixing it plus why its there get one of those custom paint jobs on it. Trust me its worth the extra bucks. I have shellcrackers that I have cracked and all I did was re seal it. trust me a crack after its been sealed wont effect the fish eating it at all.

I like to let the fish tell me what they want. Somtimes its one hop move on to the next. Other times its just let it sit there. Also rate of fall can effect how you get bit. When I am flipping alot of times I will have two or three rods setup with 1/4oz to 1oz until I find what is working best.
