Re: Was Looking Foward to Berryessa This Morning

Howdy folks, Thanks again for all the great feedback about True Bass! We are going to be rolling out some changes in the coming months, but unfortunately that means that we will be in re-runs for the next 3 weeks. The next new True Bass is scheduled to air Saturday, February 2nd. I think you'll all ...

Re: Hot Foot

Which hot foot to get (top or bottom load) is really more a matter of how the throttle cable is going to be routed than anything else. Figure out how you are going to run the cable from the motor to the area under the console, and form there you'll know if the top loader or bottom load is going to b...

Re: True Bass

Rich, We are currently working to archive clips of the episodes that we produce online and to allow the entire show to be ordered at a minimal cost for those who do not have access otherwise. Also, look for expanded coverage as we add additional networks in the coming year! Thanks for watching, Jim ...

Re: True Bass episode wish list

Folks, Thanks for all the great feedback on the show. As Justin noted in an earlier post, the program is going to continue for the forseable future. It's my wish to have this show give you, the anglers, value in trade for the time you spend watching it. You tell us who/when/where/what you want to se...

Re: Any one got any idea's?

Folks, Thanks for all the support. Kenny and I have talked and have a plan of action. Let's just let this thread die without worrying about who's to blame for what - life is way too short - and there are, as always more than one side to the whole deal. Go fishing! Regards to all, Jim Carius Galaxie ...

Re: Any one got any idea's?

Kenny, I try and never air laundry in public, so this will be the one and only post I make on this topic. The primary reason that you do not have registration is that you were trying to avoid paying sales tax. I have involved the previous two owners in this in order to accomidate you. You did not pu...

Re: Oil recommendation for 175 Optimax

The recommended oil from Merc is Optimax DFI oil. It is a partial synthetic that is supposed to reduce carbon buuildup in the cylinders. This is especially important here in California where we cannot de-carb engines the way we used to. The best thing to do is run your tank as low as you feel comfor...

Re: It is our responsibility.........

Scott, Next time we have Justin Wolf from Angler West TV around, let's put together a How-To video that we can put on the web, and heck - maybe even get a how-to segment on his show. As a boat dealer, it is my priority to get new folks into the sport, but I want to make sure that when we do they lea...

Re: We need to get educated....

Folks, I'm appalled right along with you. We thought that the anglers in our tournament would properly care for their fish. In most cases, we were right, but despite our pleading, cajoling, reminding, and offering assistance, there were those who didn't. Many, many thinks to Scott for his efforts in...

Re: Out of state boat purchase

Regarding Sales Tax: Whn you purchase a boat, be it in or out of California, the tax code says you are responsible for paying sales or use tax on the vessel and "all included components necessary for operation". This means that if the motor is on the boat when you buy it, tax is collected ...
