Will do... Few folks told me $4500-5000 for everything I got and it being a running motor but I'm thinking maybe $4000 is going to be more reasonable based on what I'm seeing out there.. Have you checked out the New Jack Flippn Hook from R2S? I've been using them for years now with no failures and have punched 8lb bass and pulled them out of the junk. Hey ACP, I just replaced my Maxxum 101 with an Ultrex the other day. I was told the holes would be the same, but only 3 lined up, the 4th was off by about 90% of the hole. I just used the 3 holes (including 1 of the holes on the outside of the mount base that's hidden under side plate). I then only ...

Nope, but Fortrex I think does fit into ultrex mount. So if you have a spare fortrex, it would fit in your ultrex mount if needed.

The Abu Garcia Revo SX is a great reel. It's light, great drag, holds plenty of line, very well priced, smooth and fits very nice in the palm of the hand. Go with the 7:1.
Retail is $159 I believe but you can shop around and find sales here and there on them.

as others replied, all in preference... I use a 7, 7'3, 7'6 and 7'11 for flp/pitch depending on size of weight or weight of jig along with how close my targets are. I use the 7'6 most of the time though. For punching, I use a 7'11 x-hvy. This allows for longer flips into the heavy mats as well as pi...

Re: OPtima group 27d blue
when speaking of a Mnnkota trolling motor the US2 = Universal Sonar 2
You should have no problem with that group of Optima's for the size trolling motor you are running. The Optima's charge fast, have long lasting power and are 100% maintenance free, amongst other great characteristics.
