I have had 4 boats wrapped by them and a truck and they did a great job on all of them. I do not believe in coming on a public forum and trying to ruin someones business. I thought the story was cool...The bird was reeled in and released with no harm done (aside from maybe a little hookhole... :lol:) and it sounds like it put up a pretty good fight. I think I'll go out this weekend and catch a couple Osprey myself. I've always wanted a bird of prey mount...:lol:

Looks 40 pounds to me. I caught at least 10 salmon over 40 pounds out of the Sac and the Feather when the fishing was good and that fish looks every bit 40 pounds.

I don't think the last one was on the lifeboat at the time of the shooting or his head would have been air conditioned as well. The report that I saw said he had already left the lifeboat because he had an injured hand and was trying to negotiate ransom money.

I saw a die off similar to the one in the article when I was living there a few years back. There were dead shad everywhere on the launch ramp and the shoreline near the launch in Stockton. It was crazy.

I've seen it in Stockton nea the I-5 bridge numerous times. It's been a long time since I've fished that area so I cant remember the exact time of year but it was usually winter/fall.

I typically throw them along weedlines and in big open areas. Both fish were caught in about 12 feet of water along a nice weedline.
