Agree with Live being the best and that is what I run too. But if you just need something completely compatible with the Ghost, a Carbon, Ti2, or the new Elite FS will all pair with the Ghost.

I think back in the day, the gear ratio was much more important than now days. If you can find it, sure get a 3.73 but with the horsepower and computers driving the transmissions now, I just don't think it's as important. I've had the permanent trailer registration for about 5 years. Just got a renewal for $10 and was able to do it on-line. There is nothing wrong with chinewalking. If you want a fast boat, you will need to learn how to control said boat. Wait, that is not what Edd is saying. A standard 2D transducer will not heat up sufficiently to ruin it while sitting in the parking lot. Your current bilge transducer will work with the HDS units. If it has temp on the 522, it will with the HDS units too. You still need both. The HDI is 2D sonar and Downscan. The LSS provides Sidescan and Downscan. The HDS Gen 2 non-Touch units require the StructureScan module to provide side and down Scanning. So your HDI will only provide 2D sonar when connected to HDS-8s. In the Installation menu you should select...

That new 185 looks awesome, just can't figure out why most all the manufactures are only putting max HP at 150 on their 18 footers. That boat is nearly 19' long. Surely it could handle at least a 175 and probably a 200. The old 188 was rated for 175 wasn't it? Is it to keep cost down?
