Last week a new patch version of update number 23.3 came out for both AT1 and AT2, and for your MFD (Pro/LIVE/Carbon/Elite FS). As a retired water district General Manager, I can say the best way to influence policy is to run and become a board member. It astounds me knowing the history of Casitas and the long standing problems of environmentalists on the board that bass anglers haven't run for board positions. That is how y...

Re: Ghost TM running time on Max
Rod, if I understand your situation correctly, you are trying to balance your trolling motor batteries since one is out of balance. Because one is running lower SOC than the other two, you need to deplete the other 2, and not the one that is running lower than the other two. This is why I suggested ...

Re: Issue networking HDS Live with HDS Carbon
I would disconnect the ethernet cable at the bow unit and then do a hard reset. This fixes most config issues and is also something that should always be done after updating. By unhooking your ethernet cable you will retain your waypoints on your console unit. The hard reset wipes out your waypoints...

There are several potential causes for this problem. 1st and most likely is not having all units on the same and current software version. Networked units need to be on the same software version. Your Ghost should deploy and retract very smoothly. The key is in proper mounting. It should be mounted with 6 bolts and on a perfectly flat and level surface. Some boats do not have a level surface, and in that case when you tighten all bolts the mount bends to conform to the fiberglass surface. Th...

That will work, but realize that you will not be able to turn off the Active Target to save battery power without also having to turn off your HDS unit. If you wire the yellow wire to an accessory switch, you can independently power on or off the Active Target irrespective of your HDS units.

Re: How to transfer waypoints to SD Card, but keep on unit
When you save your waypoints to a SD card, you do not lose them from the HDS unit. You are merely copying them to the card.
Make sure you use a 32 gb or less card. I also recommend saving them on your home computer or laptop for the future in case you ever sell or break your HDS unit.
