Re: need info on lake rules
The ones that I know of that share are Perris, DVL, Silverwood and Lake Hemet. I am not sure if others do. I know Puddingstone will tag your boat so you can get back in there but as far as I know it is not accepted at other lakes.

Re: Southern Cali Lakes Open for Launching?
Perris is open, but limited to 200 boats a day, not including Kayaks/float tubes. Silverwood should be open under similar guide lines since both are state parks. Puddingstone is open as is Elsinore and DVL. Otay, Santee, Henshaw are all open from what I have seen.

Cant wait for perris to reopen; and ill def be back to DVL soon. btw.. did the bass population in Elsinore survive the droughts a few years back? the lake looked pretty f...

Re: Getting more trout back in our lakes
It does not surprise me. Back in the early 90s they decided to not stock Florida strain bass in California lakes any longer and now the trophy sizes have been greatly reduced as a result. When they were stocking the Florida's the trophy sizes were much heftier. I thought that had more to do with th...

I am not sure, I know with cars people will have them cleaned and can re use them, I assume the same is true for boats.

Re: Anyone know what the heck this is?
My guess would be the gas has basically turned to varnish. If it was stored for ten years especially with no stabilizers in it that is most likely what happened.

Re: Lake Hemet; Any bass in this lake?
Do you know what happened to them? About 20 years ago when I was a teenager I remember catching tons of 10-12" bass on top water poppers and crankbaits.Kwin wrote:Not many but the few I've collected electrofishing are all 7-10 lbs.

Re: Another Delta sea lion
I am not very familiar with the Delta beyond it's reputation for producing large bass. Are the sea lions a relatively new thing? And if so what led to them becoming so prevalent? They were drawn to the Delta because their primary food source, salmon, has declined. They moved into the Delta looking ...

Re: Humminbird helix9 chirp si g2n
I have a Helix 7 DI g2n and it has done the same thing but only in shallow water, like 5 feet or less. I assumed it was caused by shallow water with soft bottom since it doesn't alway do it.
