Remove the Ipolite from the top of the trolling motor you will see a brown wire with a fuse holder, check the fuse if it is blown, try a new one and if it blows again there is a short some where, hopes this info helps

nivanov30 which Ultrex do you have? if you have a 112 36v make sure that you have at lease 38v then hit the run button and see if you still have the same voltage if it drops below 36v you have a bad battery same applies for 24v system (26v free load then 25v under a load) if all that checks OK, you ...

What kind of boat do you have? Boat like Champion uses a 50 to 55 inch. Most boats will be fine with a 45 inch. Minn Kota has a new style bearing, you have to change the upper tube but it will take out all the play. If you want to stay with the old style then your bering inner race is probable worn. Read your manual, there is a section on how to release the motor shaft so you can raise and tilt it back. You will have to tie the motor back from falling forward.

I know the lake is a long way to travel, but Shasta Lake is on fire. You can catch 30 to 40 fish per day. Lots of small fish but your not board. Oroville would be my next thought, but I have not been there so I do not know how the bite is.

The knees are fine, the problems I have now is age related, but I get around just fine. I fish 3 to 4 times a week mostly Shasta and Trinity, but I still go to the Delta, Clear Lake, and Oroville. Keep in touch and if you ever get up this way I’ll take you fishing

Milehi I can explain every thing to you, but I rather do it by phone. Your batteries are consider half dead at 12.5 volts. Lugnut, the micro switch is not hard to change. But you may have another problem. Basslayer, the Min Kota Max Pro 80 will draw around 45 amps on high. You can draw your batteries down in about 6 hours depending on the size of your batteries. Green Weenie, if your trolling motor is new, you can get interference until the brushes seat in. I have had that problem when I rebuilt some units.
