Re: So-Cal

What's the status of the So-Cal sign-ups? Website shows none of the events to be filled (or half-full) at this time with the first events starting in less than a month??? Is there a reduced interest level down there? Might have to call it the NCBC...LOL!

The waiting list is moving pretty quickly, I was #22 last week and #1 today. At #6 on Wednesday I would think that you will be getting a call any day now.

Still dont know how many boats have signed but not a full field yet.

Re: Advice on 6" Basstrix hook

For open water I really like the Blade Runner inserts...I recommend you at least give them a try. 1/4oz. works best for me but when it really blowing like this past weekend I up the weight to 3/8oz. Inserting them hasnt been a problem, just size it up on the outside to determine where you want the e...

I am a big fan of Eye Surrenders. In particular I like the lightweight comfort of the frames, the distortion free lens' but best of all the low price with an excellent warranty is hard to beat. Havent seen or tried the brand you mentioned but have gone through the Costa Del Mars, Oakleys and Solarba...

Re: March 22 for the WRL at Folsom has been cancelled

I'd certainly like to see it put back on the schedule but most of all I'd like a final decision to be made as soon as possible so that we can all work out our pre-fish time... I had already changed my plans for the month of March to fish another circuit... I understood this to be final as announced ...

All of the above advice is great, but i wouldnt be too concerned with the boat you purchased, I know the boat and owner well enough to let you know it was never abused and was properly maintaned. As a matter of fact, I highly considered selling my '05 Ranger 519 to buy that boat, the only thing that...
