Re: Buying boat with Oregon Title
Went through this about 10 years ago with a boat I bought back east. It was an EZ loader as well. The Dmv had to visually inspect for road worthiness. I think they said Highway Patrol could do so as well. They will then assign you a VIN that you then have to have engraved Or stamped into the frame. ...

Re: Ban the A-rig in tournaments petition. Some very well kn
Maybe the trashfish should have been banned when one pro cleared the shelves at every tackle shop in Clearlake. Maybe side imaging should be banned because it takes the guess work out of identifying structure. Maybe the gps should be banned because you can get right back to the same spot. Maybe the ...

updating to 4.0 on hds8
Do I need to save my waypoints and tracks before doing this? Will it wipe this info out? Thanks, Art
PS my 7 on the bow has the dim screen syndrome too. Maybe less isolated case than Lowrance wants to admit. I turn it on and off and it resets but it is a pain.

Re: UCSC Fishing Club
You might want to wait and see how it goes before you form a club. My son is a freshman at Crown and he doesn't have much free time at the moment. Lot tougher than he expected.

Re: converting old usr file to HDS-8
Problem solved! Old x-15 cannot write to a newer 1 GB SD card. Looks like it does, but it doesn't. Inserted old 16 MB card and it downloaded fine. But then found HDS-8 won't recognize the 16 MB card so had to copy the USR file to my computer then copy back to 1 GB card. HDS-8 then read it fine and a...

converting old usr file to HDS-8
Is there a way to convert an older usr file containing my waypoints so that a HDS-8 can upload them. I downloaded the information from my X-15 to an SD card but when I go to upload on the HDS-8 I get an error message saying version 0.0 cannot be used.
Thanks,

Ryan, you hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately I did read your post until after today's ABA tourney.

Re: Spying on other bass anglers.
Tobe, What is spying? If spying is observing what someone else is doing then I don't have any problem with it. If someone is busting fish and you can't get bit, it seems prudent to try to figure out what they are doing. Following someone around all day, well that is a different story and that ain't ...
