Usually the Breakers will protect from the breaker to the trolling motor but maybe it tripped it, check in the compartment in the back of the boat usually on the side of your batteries. If they aren't tripped recheck your connections . Good luck

Just got back and the launch is ok 1 lane and semi steep 4wd is a good idea but there were a couple guys with 2wd and launched ok..... Find the buzz baits that are in a generic package like in a convenience store tackle section. These baits usually are the squeakiest at a slow retreive 1/4 oz or 3/8 oz black or if you can come across one yellow

I weigh a million lbs no just kiddin 230 geared up my son is 180 lbs and medium amount of gear in the boat. I hardly do fill up both tanks unless we are at the delta but we mostly fish Clearlake and the Afterbay with 1 tank full and a 1/4 in the other just in case on tournament days . I have checked...

Re: Why Bass?
It is the one thing I can do year in and year out with my 13 year old son at my side. I guess it wouldn't matter what species that we go for but the thrill of figuring out the bass once in a while is something that we can do together. Not too many dads have that thrill.

Monument Hill is the ramp on the south side of 162. Head up 99 to 162 East to Oroville. Go over the bridge and then about 1/4 mile turn right into the Monument Hill launch area. See ya there. Joe

I may have misinterpreted your post. The bouyed areas will be off limits for Sunday but you may stay at the bouys and cast into the area but no boats inside the bouys. Joe
