You have to launch from the low water ramp, which is a dirt ramp. Not a big deal, but no courtesy dock and it does suck a little being in the dirt.

Must sell, new boat is on it's way!! NADA book is listed for $34k, asking $26,000. Garage kept since day one, Yamaha 250 HPDI, warranty on motor till March 2014, new tires, new batteries (4/13), motorguide 109, two HDS 5 with GPS, lots of "fishing upgrades", tackle organizer with original ...

Yes, Katherines is your best marina, it will be packed, so get there early and may want to get off early too. Stripers will be tough and you would probably have to bait fish for them fairly deep; not my expertise. The bass fishing should be off the hook; excellent topwater action, blades, cranks in ...

I'm going to jump to the other side. I have a Skeeter 20i and love it, but what I hate is the space it takes up in the garage. I had the TZX 200 which is 19'6" and I loved it. Single axle trailer lets you move it where you want in the garage and it had all the storage I needed and enough length...

I can answer some of your questions....yes, your license is good for the river, but not Mohave. Mohave doesn't touch California, so you need the AZ stamp - I think it's $3. I'm not 100% sure, but I wouldn't try to run from Bullhead to Topoc, there is some seriously shallow water, or used to be. Very...

why in the world would you want to get rid of the best motor ever made!! This is not a pissing contest on brands, but that 7.3 L was the best motor ever made (Diesel). I have 250K on mine and have no plans of dumping it anytime soon (2000 F250). I have a 2 wheel drive, and would have never needed 4x...

ppickerel, really? This isn't about boat brands. Although Champs run rough water extremely well ( I owned one), I love my Skeeter more, and I was almost killed in a Triton (bigger 21 footer). So it isn't just the boat. Just know your equipment and learn to drive it!!

Anytime I can run the crests and troughs of the waves I will (running parallel). I live on Mead and Mohave and I have learned from the best drivers (The Barnsons!). Those guys grew up on this lake! The best motor ever made was the 7.3L power stroke (Ford). Why they ever got rid of it is beyond me!! Just IMHO, I think the Cummings is a great motor (yes, noisy - but who cares), but Dodge's trannys are crap!! (I owned one less than a year and got rid of it).
