Interstate batteries are straight garbage. I have been using the Power Stride batteries that Boatmasters sells and have been very happy with them.

Used Fortrex. Works but twice in the last 5 fishing trips it just shut off, both times it started working againt just fine after a short time. Maybe just a switch going bad, Im not sure. About 8 years old. Has built in transducer

I have made the switch over from Oil to grease as well. As Mike said, Boatmasters recommended it to me and they had the buddy bearings in stock to do it. All I did was clean everything real good and tap in the new hub. Piece of cake.

I have had State Farm for over 15 years on my boats. I had a bass boat catch fire and they deemed in unrepairable. I had a check in my mailbox within a few weeks. Just my experience.....
