We caught over 100 fish with the biggest(dad Caught) a 3.50 spot and I caught a 2.75 pound spot. a lot of small fish, but easy to get a limit. Fun Deal at Melones.

I dont expect Vince to have them up yet, but how come some of you guys that fished it cant give us a update on who won the truck, big fish weight and a little info on how it was. Wanted to fish it, how was the tournament for the people that did fish it.

Verado or E Tec would be my choice, We have had a 200 Verado for 2 years and not a lick of problem, more reliable then my car. i cant speak for E Tec, but they are good motors to.

Beutiful country, long hike and watch out for the bears. Dad and I always went hiking and camping up there when I was younger, we used Night crawlers and salmon eggs. Caught a ton of Native trout.

Problem I had last year was I wanted to throw a spook or wake bait, and I could only throw Berkley baits. The Hollow Swimbait did well last year, but Im not a huge fan of Berkley Baits. Lots of fun though and great chance to win some money

I have lost two at clear lake and one at the Delta. The one at the Delta was on a rip fish in Taylor in Nov. and i cast a crank bait out after I lost the rod and got my rod back with a 3lb fish on the end.

In are old boat I hit that sucker doing about 50 mph, stoped the boat completely, almost threw me and my dad out of the boat, it blew are bottom unit, I know were that terd is by Big Break. Glad you didn't get hurt, They need to mark it with something.

vince did fine for how many boats there was, We as anglers need to keep are fish in the livewells, aerated, and some ice in there on hot days. The only recondition to the FPT on a big field tournament is, Vince needs a staff member at the Dock and they need to send up 25 boats at a time to the weigh...

If you like braid and the feel of it, go with braid and then a Floro carbon leader, its a win win. I personally yous floro for everything except Top Water, then its braid or mono.

We were fishing about 1/4 mile away from the break at Jones Tract in 2004. It was sucking us down the river. We thought it was a super, super strong tide. It was ripping.

I'm going by my boat year 2006. When I did some Reserch in 2006 Nitro had the widest beam. They still seem to be the widest at 96'.

My Nitro 901 CDX has a 94" width beam. I have check Ranger, Skeeter, Champion and the rest are 84 to 88. The Z9 has 96' I believe. So I would say Nitro has the biggest deck.

My friend and I installed this in the front and I had the same problem. It was were the cable went into the boat. We tighten it to tight and it crinp the cable. loosen it just a bit and you should be fine.

A Lot of prefishing before the tournament will usually do the trick. Your wiped out from a couple days of pre fish, but enough energy to make it on tournament day.

I love my Wake Jr. The AC minnow or the Slammer are great baits also. Chad Martin did a True Bass with a slammer at folsom a year or two ago. great show to watch. Shows you how awesome a slammer can be. This year I will have to throw the punker some more.
