Welcome to the world of Bass Fishing...like elfish said on the colors, I also use the Baby version in those colors, but I either split shot or the modified C-Rig (Carolina Rig) by using the old Rubber Core sinker or pegging a Worm weight or Mojo with Rubber or adding a Glass Bead to the Brass Worm W...

Re: Scrounger. AMart versus Luck E Strike
The original Scrounger was patented by John Waters. After John passed away, the lure died out, then Mold Masters came out with the long bill knock off and that died out. Aaron put his name to Josh and Scott Kolbinsky's lure and Scott had Tom Waters, son of John's permission to use the name. The Sco...

Re: The Real Zipper Worm Company 10%off
Greg and Harvey Stump of Roboworm created the Zipper Worm and got it patented. In an effort to mass produce them for the big box stores (BPS, Cabela’s Wal-Mart, etc.), Greg found an injection company that made them to his standards and he and Fred Ward started Zipper Worm Company (a separate comp...

Re: Heavy Swimbait Application
Clear Water, confidence, less stretch, fishing deep...would prompt anglers to use Fluoro with Swimbaits.
For surface...Braid or Mono or Braid with a Mono leader would be the choice.
But if you fish surface baits quickly, you can still use Fluoro with out worrying about the sink rate.

In SoCal we use a rig called the slip shot or finesse C-rig; Top Brass black Pro-Jo, glass bead and Peg-It for a stopper.
