Re: Inflatable PFD WARNING!

My solution is 50-55 max. I don't care how flat the water is. There are too many variables that can result in bad endings. I know my limitations. Getting from point A to point B at 70 mph in a boat isn't really necessary. If a vest is not approved for waterskiing or high impact, 50mph is still plen...

Best way I have found to store Robo's is to leave the cardboard on the package and cut a bottom corner off the bag to get em out. The cardboard keeps the bag from scrunching up and bending the worms.

They have the 16' Grizzly Welded Jon for like 2700 bucks. Boat only. It's already got a small front platform, looks like it would be easy to mod and made a nice little bass boat.

I also fish out of a 14' Aluminum that I built a deck and floor in, basically a mini bass boat. I'm getting to the point where I want a bigger one as well. I've been looking at the Trackers, they are pretty cheap for the stripped down basic welded jon boats. That's what I would go with if I were to ...

put hitchhikers on teaser wires with no weight, 1/8 to 1/4 on baits with hooks, also some guys are using willow blades with the teasers and it gives a little lift and the blade makes it swim upright right away Dave If you do this, cut off swivels and replace with split rings or the baits will proba...

Re: Drop shot line twist

Try the VMC Spinshot hooks. If you don't want to add extra knots, bigger spools seem to help and also instead of burning the DS back to the boat when you're done with a cast, just reel it in a little slower. Reeling the DS back to you fast is what causes most of the line twist. Or, just use a castin...

Pretty sure you'll be hearing about the A-rig again any time now. Any time bass are schooled up chasing bait is a good time to throw it. Fall is here, a-rigs will be killing it again.

How can the winning hand be a bluff? It's impossible in hold em. if it was the very last hand the guy would have had to put all his chips in and then actually lose the hand. Maybe he tried to bluff, the guy called then Alan outdrew him?

What do you plan on fishing from? Boat or shore? If you have a boat, just know that all of the local lakes have mussel inspections and some you have to make a reservation. Honestly, I would just drive to the delta or if you want to stay in Capitola, fish the ocean. You can rent skiffs off the Capito...

Better ban Spooks, Jerkbaits and crankbaits. They tend to hook fish in the side if they are hooked in the mouth with the front hook. Happens way more for me with those baits than the a-rig.

Take it a step further, cut the hooks off 2 buzzbaits, attach them to the top 2 swivels on an A-rig, rig 3 weightless swimbaits on the bottom 3 wires. I thought of this the other day, I am going to make one.
