Re: New Look at WesternBass.com

Great job Wayne the new look and format looks great. A good thing definitely just got better! The old west coast bass magazines have some great history of Bass fishing in the west. I'm glad to contribute a small part of your revised site with the old West Coast Bass magazines. There are a lot of gre...

Re: 2010 AC Pro-Ams????

So Mark what you are saying is that I left the permit meeting knowing that all of our events were conflicts! I'm glad you are willing to come off some of those dates that's better than what you offered when we talked. Your words were we will be giving back some date so I would be able to choose from...

Re: 2010 AC Pro-Ams????

Okay I can't let AC take the high road here. At the Permit meeting the only conflict was the first event. I really wanted that date it was a kick off at Clear Lake on Feb 27-28. That was the only conflict when we left the meeting. I have told a number of fishermen and even verbably annouced the 2010...

The shasta pro-am is shaping up the local entries are starting to come in. The free BBQ ckeck-in will be at Phils props. Phil just ran out of the 100 flyers that we sent him just sent 100 more it should be a good turn out. The Shasta Pro-am is a definite go....depend on it. I would offer my first bo...

Shasta Pro-Am...Good News

The West Coast Bass shared weight Shasta Pro-Am should be a great event. The only change is the check-in and free BBQ will be at Phils Props. If you have not heard Oasis water Sports had to close the doors. It is unfortunate and a sign of the times. We will miss them they were good people. As always...

Re: WCB Pro-Am entry fees lowered!

Good point Kent...Allot going in tight times! Well I have had a dozen or so emails and by the responses here you can probably quess that No Options is the majority opinion. The West Coast Bass Pro-am entry fees will be $230.00 for the non-boater and $430.00 for the boater big fish pool included but ...

Re: WCB Pro-Am entry fees lowered!

Need more input! The WCB advisory board guys still think that an option pool is the best of both worlds. The $230 non boater and $430 entry fees seem to be universally accepted. That includes everyone in the big fish option. Since the next event is coming up fast- New Melones April 25-26 we need to ...

Re: WCB Pro-Am entry fees lowered!

I would prefer no options as well it is allot of extra work at the last minute when we are doing the final calculations. Also it is extra checks that slow up the awards. The guys that did not want to lower the fees wanted the options but I am still open. Thought it might be the best of both worlds. ...

WCB Pro-Am entry fees lowered!

The West Coast Bass participation obviously is not any where it needs to be to grow the circuit. The feed back that I am getting is that the economy is the primary reason. By a show of hands at Oroville we dropped the entry fees to a more reasonable rate to attract more fishermen. Effective immediat...

Pro’s if you have a non boater with you and you bring cash or a credit card to the lake. If you do not have a non-boater I have observers I can call to lock you in as well. You still can sign-up for the West Coast Bass Pro-am this weekend it is not too late. I have had a number of calls so I thoug...

WCB Pedro Pro-Am cancelled replaced with Melones April 25-26

As much as we hate changes we felt like it was for the greater good to move the West Coast Bass Don Pedro Pro-Am that was scheduled for June 6,7 2009 to New Melones. The Berkley Big Bass Challenge on the same weekend and the Angler’s Choice Pro-Am on Clear Lake were the primary reasons. This chang...

Thinking about fishing the Clear Lake Pro-Am this Sat and Sun 27th-28th? It has been suggested that we drop the late fee for the Clear lake Pro-Am to accomodate late comers.
