i just ordered some parts to put some together. LOL I probably should have just bought a couple from tackle warehouse, but It always to seem more fun when you catch something on one you put together yourself.

Very cool Kelly! thanks for the info! Looks like a great way to frog. How have you done at Casitas with that combination? I have caught some on regular buzzbaits, but haven't had much luck with frogs there.

No I haven't tried that one. However i have enough buzzbaits to put a hollow frog on the hook of one. Does the buzzbait you are speaking of have a skirt, and could I just put a frog trailer on one of my existing buzzbaits? It was okay. No fish over about 2.5 lbs, but the dropshot seemed to be the ticket Friday. Damn Trolling motor screwed up. Have to call Motorguide about warranty replacement. Byron.. Hey folks. I'm goin to Casitas for the first time in a few weeks. Any news on baits? I know there was sort of a swimbait bite last time I was there, but nothing really good. Any updates would be appreciated so I don't freeze my a$$ off for nothing. :lol:

I would make a check to make sure the wiring is parallel and not series also. If you are running in series you are only getting 12 volts to the motor, and not 24 volts. Just another thought.

Ray... Is Havasu like that also. I haven't fished either body of water. I do however have a good friend that lives in Havasu, and was planning on trying some new places when I get my newer boat before I chain it to Casitas again. I will definitely try to Delta, Lopez (haven't fished there for years)...

Byron - I Had a nice strike on a crank. Felt like a 3 or 4# fish, but I was watchin some guy netting shad, and missed it. I ended up with 3 also. What does your boat look like? I'll keep an eye out for you next time I'm there.
