Re: Class ACT at B.P.S.
I think what was trying to be said was that pro anglers are a different type of pro, one who dosen't forget where he/she came from (not saying all PROS are like this). Lets say I show up to a "Open" try out for a pro team in the MLB, and my gear isn't up to par...do you think a MLB "P...

new hunter....
I'm about to step into the world of hunting...I'm going to be hunting upland bird for the time being (pheasant). I'm 24 years old and my only time behind a trigger has been with an M-16 (Army vet). I've been looking at a Remington 870 Express mag 12 gauge. Is this gun a good gun to start? I looked o...

Re: TV fishing shows - dissapointing :(
The show that I like on WFN is Bass Edge. They have a lot of tips and the fishing is not to bad. The show called Lunkerville sucks (aka dinkerville). I was really disapointed with it. I still watch WFN when ever I get a chance. My wife hates it...she doesn't understand my addiction yet.

Re: How do they get in there?
My friend swears by this method!!! I thought that he was crazy, but after all this...hell it might be true. So it comes down to birds, planters, and POOP!Greg_Cornish wrote:I still say, "Undigested Heron Poop"

How do they get in there?
I was out fishing a local pond and this question came to mind...How do bass get into a pond that has no inlet from a large lake or river? I'm sure no one has planted them there. So does anyone know how this happends? If I dig a pond in my back yard, would it end up populated by bass (I'm not doing t...

Lake Natoma on Hazel
I was wondering if anyone has fished on lake natoma. I know that they don't allow any motors out there, but my tube would work I think. I just don't know if your allowed to. The place I'm talking about is just off Hazel (In Sacramento/Orangevale) located on the left and I can see the sail boats and ...

second stamp
I'm new to the bass fishing world. I fish from a float tube and mostly only bring one pole with me, making bait changes as necessary. I bought a new abu baitcaster and want to know if I need to get a second stamp if my second line isn't in the water at the time. It's nice to have a few poles on hand...

Piranha Found in Natomas???
what do you all think of this...I think its crazy. I use to own two piranhas when I live in Germany, where you could go down to the local pet shop and buy them for only 10 euros (15 dollars). I use to feed them small fish and small rats, I could only think of the damage that they could do in the sma...
Re: Bluegill
I'm new to bass world, but when me and my friends want to have some fun with the dinks, we go to Dry Creek in Roseville. Get a creek pole and use a 1/16 rooster tail. I've cought both bluegill and bass out of there, nothing over one pound, but we walk the creek to spots that you can't get to unless ...

I've been hooked!!!
I've been hooked...caught my first bass and now I have spent hundreds of dollars to start a new hobby that I'm trying to understand. I bought a float tube to start, so I need some good locations that I could go to and what to use at these locations. I wish that I could buy a boat, but the old lady s...
