Re: 37.14 to Lead 2021 Bassmaster Classic Results Day 2 as Conditions Shorten Fishing Day

Justin Kerr from the west coast in second place! We should be seeing more press coverage. Hate that MLF has kind of minimized it, this is a huge deal. I drew him in a bass open way back in the day when he was a kid and knew he’d do big things! Go get em Justin!!! Win this thing!

Re: “DID I MISS SOMETHING @ PEDRO

It was an open tourney not a normal team event. Only 37 boats, not a bad payday for that amount of boats. Pretty cool of WWBT to go to the foothill lakes when a lot of major circuits avoid the lakes all together. Just my opinion, thanks WWBT!

Re: Inaugural APEX EVENT April 23rd, 24th, & 25th

Compete in their regular pro ams and come in the top ten in points and you’ll get invited next year. I think they might go down a little lower than 10th if the other guys in top ten are already Apex Anglers. I’m not positive on that though.

Re: Winter Bassin' Bullard’s Bar

That’s true MT. I honestly don’t know, that’s why I’m just curious to see what everyone else’s thoughts are on it. I think you’re right, some will prob say it’s fine and others might not like it. I truly mean no disrespect to anyone doing it this way in a tournament as long as it’s within the rules....

Re: Winter Bassin' Bullard’s Bar

Pretty cool article and technique for sure. However, it’s just my personal opinion that this way of doing the float n fly shouldn’t be allowed in tournaments. Using a 10’ fly rod to catch fish fly fishing just seems like a slippery slope to me and kind of a different sport. Can we now use 10’ to 12’...

Re: dobyns champion 734c help

Dobyns 734c is probably one of my favorite overall Rods. It’s very versatile and I use it for a lot of different things. Personally I prefer the 735c for a spook and whopper plopper. It also makes for a good frog rod as well.Hope this helps,

Helix 7 SI-Chirp-Gps $250

I have a pretty much brand new Helix 7 SI Chirp with GPS that I'm selling. It was on my boat for a total of two outings and I've decided that it's just a little too small for what I need. It is a very nice graph with a gret picture and detail, I just need a little bigger screen and prefer for it to ...

Triton Owners Tourney Experience

I just wanted to jump on here and let everyone know about my first Triton Owners Tourney last weekend at Clear Lake and thank Kent Brown and his crew for a great event. The quality of this tournament caught me by surprise and I felt like it was worth sharing(which I don't do often). I've been fishin...

I called the host hotel and they said that power for the boats wasn’t an option. Has anyone stayed there and were you able to charge your boats? Any other options for lodging up there that you’d recommend? All of the usual stuff like the fawndale, Shasta dam,etc all full. Thanks for the help!

WWBT rules question/suggestion

Hey Gary and crew. As we prepare for our teams TOC next month and we prepare for next season. Would it be possible to get rid of the 5 wire max rule for A rigs? Just figured I'd throw the suggestion out there since your advisory board is probably meeting around this time of year for next years adjus...

Man that Evinrude contingency is pretty awesome. $5k, 3k and 2k at every tourney. That is pretty cool and something that companies should try to duplicate. I used to have an Evinrude, kinda wish I still did now. Good job WWBT!

I'm really looking forward to fishing WWBT this year. Is there a plan for the low water conditions on some of the lakes? Oroville and Shasta? I also like the 764c. I use it a lot for the smaller wake baits like the Mikey and it works great but you can also use it for many other applications including the spook. My favorite rod for the spook and baits like the whopper plopper is a 735c. Also great for open water frogs. I fish the Delta a l...

The 705 cb is what I use for bds3, rc 2.5, etc. I love the rod, it works great for the Delta. I've caught many good size fish on the river with it and have never had a problem. When I switch to a speed trap or smaller crank I prefer the 704 for casting accuracy. Both are great rods. Call Gary or Ric...
