for flipping u want a long handle for leverage. for frogging you want a short handle for the ability to walk frogs right. My advice: get two rods because you'll probably end up doing it anyways. But if you were to get one rod: Def a Powell 765.

ppl act as if senkos are a magic bait. theyre not. i've had days where they wanted more of a slender bait like a straight tail robo or more bulky like a sweet beaver. they do not work all the time, but do have a high percentage of getting bites.

ive tried both gammy and owner. Go with owner if you want a sharper point (look at the tip, its like a knife) and a strong construction.

Basically, I bought a zillion flipping rod NEW with tags from a private seller, so no reciept. First fish I catch (at most 4lbs) SNAPS a foot of the rod, lost the fish, jig, AND the TIP (1 foot of it)!!! Mac , dont always go with the fast set. I have fished behind some fast hookseters and took their money. If you're setting fast and catching water, slow down let him swim with it.
