Re: Why is My Active Target Screen blinking?

2 batteries if you can. Hook all the main items to one and the Active Target to its own circuit. For the best picture you should separate your AT from everything. 8 Gauge wire and seperate 30amp fuse on/off switch, and a seperate fuse circuit board is best. Make sure to turn off any other downscan o...

We had a Duck Club on Suisun Slough. Those things started showing up about 30 years ago or about as far back as I can remember. I have seen them in Antioch as well. Don't know much about them but they are common.

There were also no Native Almond trees, cotton and other crops in California. That now suck are delta and river system dry and destroy the habitat that once supported population of millions of Striped bass, Salmon, Delta smelt and others. We should get rid of those too!

Just take the best hook you like. Go buy some 1/8" diameter or smaller shrink tubing and rod tip glue stick. Cut the shrink tubing at a long angle like the ones in Tosh's set up about 3/8" long piece, and add a small piece of the rod tip glue stick in the tubing next to the hook where you ...

Fished in the Chamber Tournament and my friend was out Crappie Fishing on that Sunday. I talked to him after the tournament to see how the crappie fishing went. He said he saw about a 4 plus pound bass swimming around on the surface and it was hurt. He saw a competitor in the tournament drive over t...

Re: Sinking braid WTB

I would recommend using braid for a DH, Drop shot, Ned rig, Senko, or pretty much anything for bass fishing. Sinking or floating if light enough it does not matter. Use a good 10 to 12 foot of fluoro and you are good to go and you save a ton on line cost as the braid will last for a very long time. ...

I have fished up there for the past 20 years out of a jet boat. A lot will depend on the river flows and how high the river is. There are lots of underwater trees, sand bars, etc. It is possible to run it with a prop if you know the river and the flow (height) but most used jet boats. The locals tha...

I would learn a few different knots as not every knot will work for certain diameters of line, certain types of line, etc. I have rarely ever had a problem with the braided knot breaking at the mono or Flouro connection. Most of the time if not 99% of the time the knot will break at the hook or lure...

Just go buy some shrink tubing. 1/2 inch, shrink the whole piece over an old Senko. Cut small pieces to fit when needed. It works great and one pack from lowes is $3.00 and will last for years.
