Re: Right or Left Handed Baitcaster
I used to cast right handed and switch the rod over each cast but as I've evolved as an angler I have taught myself to cast lefty and keep my retrieve with the right hand. do as you feel is comfortable... easiest thing. there is NO Right or wrong way... all what you like.

Just stick with regular braid Mark. the coated is hard to fish and does have the line twist element and is awful.

Big Hammer swimbaits on the back of the swormin hornets have accounted for a LOT of winnings for myself the last 3 years. People think this is a "smaller fish" deal but it's all about the areas and timing for the big ones.

I SWEAR by the swimjigs and other reaction baits all year round. in the colder months the bigger bass tend to chase a bait down more and its a BIG bass bait. Jigs and BIG worms/creatures are always best bets on bigger bass year round.

Irod 7' 1" Medium is a great rod for flukes styles and you can toss poppers and small TW nicely with this rod.
if you want to bump up in price, the IROD Air Series 6' 10" ML is money!!

Agree 100% about same brand graphs and networking. we recently networked our HDS 12 and 9 together and it's the best thing we've done... being able to switch between the graphs and have your way points at each graph is so helpful. I won't skimp on my line and what I fish is NOT expensive and is very good stuff. Seaguar Invisix is the line I trust and love.. I buy the 1000yd spools and last me a LONG time as I spool only half a reel with it and the rest in mono or braid. SAVES A TON of coin that way.
