Re: I was asked to leave vs Public Trust Doctrine
Homeowners along the Clear Lake shoreline are always trying to pull some type of trick to keep anglers from fishing near their docks, but it backfired on several homeowners roughly a few years back. They were leaving unattended fishing poles out on their docks with line in the water during a tournam...

I always thought the same thing but here at lake Pleasant the main marina can kick you out and it is legal. Some kind of a deal between the county and Corps and the marina but they can get you for fishing inside the bouys and it is definitely in the low water area. Might want to ask a G&F offic...

Why would an angler weigh in 5 fish knowing there was a sixth in the well and then DQ himself? What would be the point weighing in? Such actions give reason to suspicion and question motive.

Currently 2.51' above Zero Rumsey. 7.56' is a full lake, so the level is down 5.05'. Weeds are dying off and sinking in the north end. Far more clear water than pea soup conditions in most areas. Fall transition in progress.

I wore an inflatable PFD for two years. Although it still had a green indicator, I decided to test it out, and rearm it. Inflated OK, but it soon started to deflate due to a pinhole leak on the vest. I've gone back to a conventional PFD.
