Yeah, the water comes from the delta so whatever the delta has its in San Luis. The stripers population is huge though which I think holds the bass population down. Plus it gets really windy which keeps a lot of people off the big lake.

Go to del-mart.com and join there forum. He makes a ton of molds and sells all of the equipment you need to pour any bait. His customer service is second to none and his molds are the best. Once you get a mold if you call him he will walk you through the process.

The "North" Redding Motel 6. It is very clean and only 39 bucks a night. Its the most popular spot so call early. I stayed there for the FLW and I was great.

I agree with KB. It sounds more like your set up is wrong. The prop would have to be completely out of the ball park to loose 1000 rpms. The motor is not set high enough or the trim is wrong. Dont over look the obvious too, make sure your throttle is going to wide open.

I honestly would not fog the motor unless you are going to store it again for a long time. You can run some addative through the carbs if it makes you feel better. I think Mercury makes a ring cleaning product thats pretty good. Just make sure your shift rod is in the proper postion before you start...

Thats a great idea offduty but I dont think it works very well during a tournament. I use the needle and go through the mouth. You put the needle right in between the crushers and push. Its much easier than going through the side in my opinion. You can get the needles at any tackle shop. I was at Co...
