Re: 25 fury
I have a 26p Fury(mint condition) as a backup to a Bravo 1. I'm running a Ranger Z-21 with a Verado 250. It doesn't quite get me the RPM's needed but it does create great bow lift and a surprisingly good holeshot. What're you running the 25p on? Results?

Right on man! I think you'll have fun with the BBT. We fished 7 last season because of not being able to fish an entire schedule of 1 region. That qualified us to the championship at Oroville which is another benefit of BBT...a championship!! Good luck out there!

Hey Roscoe! First off, I say if you wanna do the FLW as a coangler then do it! I jumped right in and got humbled pretty quick . I'm on my 4th season with them as a co and have learned a ton (both what and what not to do). Also I have had some success but it's all a learning experience in my opi...
Re: FLW Delta
Hey Bryan you can call this number 270-252-1600(office) or 270-252-1000(main) and ask where you stand on the CO's waiting list. Boaters will probably be signing up until the last minute like Lake Havasu and all the other past tourneys. Yes you will be sent confirmation at some point but I know it he...

I really stand by P-Line's Fluorocarbon. I don't think it gets all the hype that some of the other brands have had but I've had no issues with knot strength or breakage. I tie lures on with the Double San Diego Jam knot see this link http://youtu.be/KRJNZGPIscE. Pay attention to the doubled line tha...

I'm in, or at least hopefully in, as a co-angler. Paid my dues Friday. I heard Ron with KB on Ultimatebass and he said numbers are coming up steady. Had to take the 2012 season off for financial reasons but still stayed out fishin. Was hoping to carry some momentum into '12 after placing well at the...

Re: Where to take kids fishing in the Bay area?
Hey Rickd! I fish the southbay lakes frequently and suggest checking out Calero, Chesbro, or Uvas. All three lakes are within 10-15 minutes of eachother. Calero has boat traffic and can fill up quick/get crowded on hot weekends. Also a $6 parking fee. Uvas and Chesbro are free of charge and have mul...

I filled in for for an officer who couldn't make the tourney back in 2009 and ended up making a good friend. At that time I know it was acceptable for only one angler on the boat to be a badge holder as I am not. Well organized event and a whole lotta fun!! Should be a slugfest for this one!

I do a lot of night fishing and have owned a handful of headlamps. Some being too bright and some not being durable and some although nice just too expensive. I picked up a couple of the Fuegos at the holiday season when they were about 10 bucks cheaper than the current closeout price at TW. There are some pretty good seminar videos in the westernbass tv library done by Dave Rush and Bill Townsend on spotted bass. Check them out.
