Re: Tournament Org's and 1099's

I have always received a 1099 from every organization I've ever fished. Now, if a local team director isn't giving accurate information to the tournament organization, I could see how that might be a problem. The only team tournaments I've fished in the past 15 years have been ABA so my tax records ...

Re: Lucas Oil Summer Classic at Lake Mead

I'm in. Anglers need to be supporting Lucas oil. This could be the beginning of something big for the west coast.

And don't forget their team tournament on Lake Pleasant Apr 14-15. $385 all in, a Z118 150 Pro Xs package to first place, PLUS the normal cash payback of an ABA team tournament.

Re: Full field for the Everstart!

When I spoke with Chris Hoover last week, he was afraid this would happen. We had a waiting list for coanglers late in the week, so coanglers quit signing up thinking they would not get in. Now, we have a waiting list for pros. Any coanglers that want to fish can still get in and FLW is taking sign-...

Rumor has it that Roosevelt is close to filling, so if you want to fish them all and earn a berth to the Evertstart Championship on Kentucky Lake in October, you better get in ASAP.

Gary - I hope you come down and bring your entourage with you!

See you all at Shasta.

Re: Subject: Did FLW F*** some Co-Angler at Roosevelt event?

I've been involved in this sport since 1972, so I've seen it grow from $75 entry fees and a few plaques handed out at the ramp to a nationally televised, big money sport. so I feel qualified to jump in. It's just as far from Roosevelt to Shasta as it is from Shasta to Roosevelt. I was disappointed I...

I'm going up Saturday morning. I should be going through San Bernardino around 8AM. If it's not too big and not contraband and you want to meet me at an offramp, I can do it. I'm staying at Riverpoint off March Lane at the Delta. Get me your cell number and we can work out the details.

Who would cheat? Obviously a guy that thinks he can't compete on a level field. He still has to be able to go out and catch a bag to fill the cage. If he can't catch but 3LBS at Pyramind during the tournament, he probably isn't going to catch much better than that to load his cage. Hopefully a cheat...

You need the Colorado River Special Use Permit AZ Licensees. If you ask a G&F person for a Nevada stamp they can't put 2&2 together. It's on the online purchase page if you look for it.

Re: Aluminum Bass Boats

If you're considering a new aluminum boat, you need to see your local Stratos dealer. The 176XT is the same price as a Tracker Pro Team 175, but it's a fiberglass boat. No need to put up with the negatives of aluminum for the sake of price. I've sold both Tracker and Stratos brands, have driven and ...

I'm sure everyone got the same e-mail I did asking which lakes and what months to schedule for the NG events. That leaves one of two conclusions. Re: Won Bass will be running Pro-Am's next year.

The slot on Roosevelt is 13-16 inches. You can weigh one slot fish. If you want fish under 16 inches, you won't be cashing a check. I live 25 minutes from Lake Pleasant and drive right by it on my way to Roosevelt. I'd rather catch 50-60 fish a day trying to break 15lbs than hope for 5 bites to get ...

Re: Won Bass will be running Pro-Am's next year.

Roosevelt is a good lake to fish any time of year and a great lake at certain times of the year. It's a lot like Shasta in the terms of numbers of fish caught and limits weighed, but they're almost all largemouth with just a few smallies and no spots. The lake reached nearly full pool this year for ...

Bob My 2 cents. You should repower with whatever brand you have on there now. As others have said, whatever you buy will do the job as long as it gets proper maintenance. By staying with the same brand, you can avoid the cost of a key harness, control box and gauges. I think the Mercury Verado is a ...
