Re: R.I.P. Tackle Warehouse
I haven't had an issue in the last year or so. I place an order every few weeks typically and I receive my shipment in 2-3 days. Placed an order last Friday and it will be here tomorrow. I only ever use UPS for shipping, it seems in the past if i selected the other carrier there were always problems...

Thanks for this info. Did your order confirmation say it would ship in a few days or was it like mine that says 15 days to process?[/quote]
Interestingly enough no... infact the last one got here so fast TW's website still said it was processing. haha.

35 year Reno local here. Sorry friend... you will be bummed out if you plan on being able to fish within an hour of town. There is Lahontan which has a small population of smallmouth. Rye Patch which is 2 hours away also has some smallmouth but those are the only Nevada lakes close enough to conside...

Tracker Recarpeting
Anyone know of someone reputable in the Sacramento area that would recarpet a Tracker ProTeam 185? In addition do you have any experience as to cost? I have heard numbers as low as $850 and as high as $2500. Let me know!

She will stand on the bow with me and watch my bait fly through the air and then stare at the water and wait patiently for it to come back so she can watch it fly again. She also knows when i have a fish on and will stand right there until its been swung in the boat so she can give it a kiss. She a...

Re: Wright & McGill Skeet Reese Rods
The Crankin rod is excellent. Ya maybe a little heavy but if your arms are too weak to throw that rod all day then maybe fishing aint your thing. I would try knitting, those needles are fairly light. The cranking rod casts extremely well has great feel and more than enough back bone. If you dont hav...

Camped on the dock at B&W plenty of times. They usually charge us a second launch fee for sleeping there but have never been hasseled and they always seem like good people. And like it was stated earlier its close to some good fishing..

Lost an abu salmon rig in alaska, I was fishing with cut herring and my hands were slick. a big coho hit and that was the end of that rod. Lost one few years back fishing for Cats. two hits on the bait and while I was running to grab the rod it flew in to the water. must have been a nice one. My bes...

Hippie, I agree with you 100%. I cannot stand religion. I am a man of science. I understand there are a lot of bass fishermen who believe in god, dont ask me why. And each one of...

Re: I'm the guy in the video with the REAL story....
Watched the video... I am going to go ahead and say this is LEGIT.. 100% real. Given the xtra heavy action of the rod and what appears to be no strain during the initial retreive of the swimbait I can see it. My partner caught an 8lber last year at Berryessa, looked like the same damn fish on a med ...

I agree about float tubes.. leave them at home unless you have an actual pack tube. other wise its 8-15lbs that you dont need. Also, you are in the back country. leave that spinning gear at home. Pack in a 7.5ft 3wt Z-Axis with a small CL1 Ross Rythm spooled with floating line and a back up spool wi...

Fished Indian Slough, Discovery Bay and Latham Slough Saturday.... water was about 3ft visibility and the the temps were pretty much averaging 59-60 everywhere we were. like the guy above me we have not seen any beds, and that may be attributed to our only fishing cold fronts this year.. should be p...
