I had the same issue a month ago. Problem was that I didn't have the low water pickup plugged like BILLYS said. If you have a low water pickup that is probably your problem.

Fuse for fish finder?

I just bought a Lowrance Mark-5x pro fish finder over new years break. going to put it on the boat today. i was wondering if i need to put an in line fuse between the unit and the battery? if i do, should i just use a BUS fuse? also what amp? thanks for any info.

i'd start with checking your fuses in your truck. if that is no the case, check for voltage on your plug in on your pickup. hope this helps some.

i was up at east park a few months ago for a kids fishing day. there were lilly pads when i was there. maybe the water level had risen recently is all i can think of.

i agree with rick. i would start by having all the lines replaced. they small poly tubes or plastic tubes your oil is going through might be cracked. i just got a boat that had sat for 5 years and after i ran it, it started leaking oil. i had someone look at it and it turned out the lines were crack...

i also have some skeet rods. i have the s-glass crankin rod and also the topwater/jerkbait rod. i have to dissagree with you. i have a revo-s on the crankin stick and a revo premier on the topwater/jerkbait. i have not had any issue with the reel being loose in the seat, ect. i have not had an issue...

kinda off topic, but dont forget to take your ball off the bumper if its blocking your plate if your not towing. haven't towed in 2 months and got pulled over friday night by the CHP and got a fix it ticket.

i personally use p-line cxx, but have used a lot of different types of their line and have always had 0 problems.
