Re: Center for Biological Diversity!!!
I think the stupidest part is that this group thinks that by killing off all the bass, the hitch are going to magically be saved. There are SO many other environmental factors that are reducing hitch populations; its really frustrating to see this group come to a conclusion that killing the bass is ...

Re: Clear Lake Hitch Endangered Species?
I agree with Dave. Killing off the bass is not the only solution to preserving the hitch population. Before any kind of legislation gets passed, scientists need to do more research and find alternative ways to help the hitch, like restoring more shoreline to offer more spawning habitat.

Re: What are the best trolling motor batteries
I would recommend Optima Blue top batteries. They are more expensive, but are made to hold charges longer and can recharge more times than the average battery. Since they last longer, in the long run you will probably spend less money buying these than constantly replacing cheaper batteries.

Bass Tackle for Stripers
The water I fish for stripers is brackish, but probably more salt water than fresh. I have grown tired of using my big saltwater setup for things such as jerkbaits, and was wondering if it is ok to use normal bass tackle for these conditions. And if so, what should I do to care for the reels to prev...

Abu Garcia Vendetta
Has anyone tried the new Vendetta rods? The description mentions that they are made for use with Revo reels, but do they perform well with other reels?

Doctoring a Frog
After catching a couple bass on my Snag Proof frog, the frog sinks before I can even twitch it once. There doesen't seem to be any rips, and I'm afraid to plug up the hole where the hook comes out because it will prevent air from going in and out of the frog. any tips?

Re: st. Croix Mojo Bass Rod
Just wondering, although these rods are bait specific, can you use them for lures other than the lures they are made for?

Abu Garcia Pro Max or Bass Pro Shops Extreme?
I was thinking of buying either the Abu Garcia Pro Max or the BPS Extreme baitcast reel. They are in the same price range, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
