I know the further North you go (Sycamore on up) there is a lot less CURRENT, but you can still have a 4-5 foot swing, it just takes a lot longer. What i mean by that is some places around Frank's you could have the current moving 15 mph and drop the water level 5 feet in a hour, but up there you'll...

When we were photographing Kevin VanDam During the Elite Series tournament he told us he caught two, but they were too small to weigh in. All he was doing was running rocky banks ripping! sounds like a smallie pattern to me :lol:

the mojo weights are definitely a good idea if you want it to sink faster, the falcon hooks only go to 1/4 oz. just make sure you secure the mojo weight in the airpocket (superglue somehow) or it will fly out when you cast sooner or later.

Buck- There are plenty of good rods that you can choose from. Normally any reaction bait rod is either a composite or fiberglass, not graphite. I personally like the GLoomis 7' Heavy Crankin stick for spooks. Daiwa has a reel called the Coastal Inshore special for $120. This is a very good reel that...
