Re: Favorite Senko for Folsom Lake???

Read my report.

I have done well on Yum Dinger (Senko knockoff) in green laminate or baby bass colors. My parter did really well on Smoke Yamamato Senko. So my recommendation, right now, is shad & bait fish colors!!!

Re: Folsom Advice?

My partner and I caught 7 keepers the other day for 5th place. The bite isnt red hot but they are certainly biting. Shoud get better with warmer weather. Lots of people caught them differently but if you stick to underwater rock piles and shallow rock piles you can get some on jerk baits and senkos.

weather reports

I've got a 17ft bass tracker. Pretty light rig. So I naturally try to avoid windy days on the water. However, even when expecting 5 to 10 mph winds (which is not a problem for me) sometimes the reports are very wrong and the wind will be howling. Anyone have any recommendations on where to get a bet...

Re: Chatter bait help

I personally compare a chatter bait to a spinner bait. Swimming jig with a skirt and a blade. Chatter bait has more vibration obviously. Having said that you should be able to use the same set up you would use for spinnerbaits. This is at least how I see it.

I hear ya. I have done braid to fluoro many times. For some reason I always end up taking it off. If I remember correctly I wasnt a fan of the connecting knot going through the guides. I also seem to have more issues with braid than fluoro. I can spool fluoro and cast a mile but for some reason with...

I got some to send you. Its the strongest line. It is hard as hell to break when you get it snagged. I've straightened out hooks trying to break off dart heads.
